Does anyone know the name of a song that starts 'I am the daughter of the son...' and contains the line 'You and I have more than blood in common'? Another verse has 'more than a name in common'. I think it's by Kate Rusby, but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance. |

I wondered if Martha Tilston was related to Steve - turns out she's Steve Tilston's daughter. Who's her mother? A number of Websites call Martha the stepdaughter of Maggie Boyle, but don't name the mother. Was Martha's mother a musician, too? Jim did a darn good transcription, but there are a few rough spots. I hear "She was a milkmaid and she was theone," but that could be wrong. I wish somebody who speaks English English would take a listen and tell us what they hear. -Joe- |
