I'm looking for chords and lyrics for a song (Ain't it a wonderful day) This could be the chorus. Thanks.

Is this the song you want? It would normally be classified as jazz.

AIN'T THIS A WONDERFUL DAY
Words and music by Harvey Wallace Brooks and Lester Leroy Clark.
As recorded by Anita O'Day in 1952.

I don't have to worry; I don't have to hurry,
'Cause I've got somethin' to say:
I heard a bluebird passin' the good word:
Ain't this a wonderful day?

Life is a pleasure that you can measure,
And hear(?) what the birds have to say.
I heard a bluebird passin' the good word:
Ain't this a wonderful day?

While I was dreamin' in the shade of a tree,
And list'ning to their song,
I understood and I put it in words,
And you can help to pass it along.

Look on the bright side 'cause it’s the right side.
Stay in the sun while you may.
I heard a bluebird passin' the good word:
Ain't this a wonderful day?

Is this the chorus? The song I'm looking for I think uses this phrase within the course. The tune is in my head, unfortunately this is the only line I can remember from the chorus. Blast this mind of mine. LOL

Hi, Jerry - click here for a link to a sample of the Anita O'Day recording. Maybe that will confirm whether it's the right song.
