He's our revenge on Australia, for Rolf Harris.

I like him, but am not sure why he thinks Jean-Michel Jarre is a fake.

Usually I really enjoy his stuff. Kraftwerk doing Das Hoki Koki is my favourtie. But then frivolity always did take preference over 'issues' for me.

Big fans here, too ... one of his albums had us laughing too much to drive safely, and we've watched and re-watched "Part Troll". So yes, please let him come home from Australia, especially if he's not being fully appreciated!

Oh - he's appreciated - he was on an ABC TV show called "Enough Rope" here. He did a bit of his music act... He was also asked "why are you a 'nutter magnet?" :-)

I first discovered him on "Black Books".

I've never been quite the same since....

The Dalek is from the BBC TV series Doctor Who which is listed in Guinness World Records as the longest-running science fiction television show in the world and is also a significant part of British (and Australian) popular culture.

Huey Cannon wrote this song. Sarah Segris was the woman who stood outside the saloon and yelled in for her man, Willard Bailey, to come home. It seems that the women, or this woman, anyhow, weren't supposed to go inside and make a ruckus for some reason. Cannon got sick of hearing here yelling for her Bill to come home----i.e. this song.

This was all told to me by Howard Armstrong (from the black band Martin, Bogan and Armstrong) who knew all the folks involved.

I love watching Bill Bailey. He is totally off the wall bonkers but that's the appeal! Particularly enjoy him as a team captain on 'Never mind the Buzzcocks'
