Does anyone know of a concertina maker who lives near Warminster (UK). If so, what does he make?

Easy: Colin Dipper
West End House, Heytesbury (I don't have his phone no. to hand)
He makes all types of concertinas: tell him what you want, and wait (may be years...)

Not "may be years"... WILL be years ... 5, 6 or 7?
Alan (who is patiently waiting)

OK thanks everyone. I thought it might be him.
I don't think I can wait that long! Shame, though.

Having handled a few of his instruments, get a Wheatstone and get on the line. Once you get your Dipper, the Wheatstone will become your second instrument and you will have two top quality instruments.

He might have a second hand box, or a bag of bits that could be rebuilt for the cost of the time...

I have a Wheatstone Aeola which was rebuilt by Dipper (even
has his stamp inside). Remarkably well-done AND it has held
up for more than a decade with no further work.

It was VERY dear, though.

Desert Dancer and I are buying a 1928 extended range Wheatstone Anglo to go with her 1924 one. Can't wait for her to have it....
