There used to be a guy who made and sold boots at festivals. I bought some from him at bromyard some years ago and am looking for some more, but I havent seen him for ages. They are (generally) very decorative, three or four colours of leather and sometines a picture on the toecap. Anyone know where I can find him?

The most comfortable boots I have ever had, I wear them most of the time - just want some more. Can no-one help?

It might narrow it down a little if you told us which country we are talking about.

Not the same, but Susie's Shoes in Norfolk are highly recommended.

Mary's got several pairs, and Philippa (currently featured on the web site) is a friend of ours who's recently followed Mary's recommendation and is very pleased with her new boots.

I'll contact Susie though.

I Googled Colin and shoemaker and came up with this:
Colin Johnson Shoemaker

Do you think he could be the one you're looking for?

I think he's out of business. Went to jail for putting mirrors on the toecaps and looking up skirts. Actually they'd have let him off on that except he'd started installing minicams as well and was posting upskirt films on YouTube.

Or not.............

There used to be a couple of malers/vendors in Glastonbury (the town not the festival). Don't know if they are still around.
