20 Sep 08 - 06:07 AM (#2445778) Subject: Before the Ruin From: theleveller I knew that when three of my favourite performers, Roddy Woomble, John McCusker and Kris Drever got together, the result would be good but, having just listened to their new CD, Before the Ruin, I have to say that it is absolutely sensational. Without doubt the best CD I've heard this year (and there have been a lot of good ones). The songwriting is inspired, the voices haunting, the musicianship impeccable and John McCusker and Andy Seward's production is perfection. Just brilliant - can't wait to hear them live. |
