24 Sep 08 - 10:09 AM (#2448943) Subject: Henley Acoustic Club From: bubblyrat Change of title ,as we play much more than "folk". The new venue is the Angel Hotel, Friday street,Henley-on-Thames. The inaugural session will take place next Friday,viz.Friday October 3rd---there is limited on-site parking (contact me first !!),or the station car-park is quite close (closer than Waitrose,anyway).We are hoping for a good turn-out....it's a lovely venue,and there will be hot roast potatoes at 2130 for the peckish ! Lots of room to sit,etc.and already there is interest from local (Reading-Marlow-Wycombe etc) musicians....So please come along at make it memorable !! |
