BS: Who will Pres. Sarah Pick as her VP???

24 Sep 08 - 07:57 PM (#2449336)
Subject: BS: Who will Pres. Sarah Pick as her VP???
From: Bobert

Well, I reckon that if John McCain wins then he's got5 about 2 years before he dies and we'll have Ms. Sarah as Ms. President and was just wonderin' who she would pick as her VP...

My choice would be to keep it in the family and pick hubby, "First Dude"... Then in '12 the bumber stickers would look real cool "Palin/Palin"...

Maybe by then the "I'm a fu*kin' redneck" son-in-law-to-be will be old enough to be Secretary of State and all will be wonderfull in Sit-com America???

But really, folks... Who do you think that Ms. Sarah would pick???

I suspect she'd choose a 'real nowhere man' who designs bridges in his spare time. . . .

I'm bettin' on Chongo. That's if he doesn't win it all in November. The Republicans would just love to have him onside in their camp in order to get the primate vote.

They'd have to make him an offer he simply couldn't refuse, though, and I'm trying to think what they could come up with along those lines...?

I think she should pardon Charles Manson and make him VP. It's a scary idea, but not nearly as scary as her being President.

No, Amos. Chongo is not that big into Golden Retrievers. I think I could describe his attitude toward them as "mild suspicion, verging on indifference".

Actually, the golden retriever sounds okay, but wouldn't it require a constitutional amendment allowing the minimum age requirement to be recalibrated into dog years?

No, the golden retriever does NOT sound okay. Chongo requires far greater inducements than that to be persuaded to serve as number 2 in the Palin administration.

I offer my devoted services, both to the noble Scarah and to the people of America.

My incisive mind can cut to the bone of these anaemic political rumours encircling the nation, to sink into the sharp truth of our economic needs and extract the iron of abundance. I will suck the blood of the nation in order to ingest honour, valour and the energy of the youth of the nation. Like a bat consuming a moose, i will cling to the lovely Scarah and follow her on a trail of destruction, feasting on the innards of blood left in trails by the bodies of our enemies.

I offer my valiant spirit to consume the bleeding hearts of the feeble opposition, to chew their dangerous liberal licentiousness and tread their treasonous pro-terrorist wimpish followers into the dust.

There will be a sausage sizzle outside my place on Friday 13th at midnight, please bring a donation and a friend!

Rig, that is a specist slur that is not going to go unchallenged. You owe Chongo Chimp and the entire APP an apology! Furthermore, Chongo's family does NOT hale from Kenya. They come from various parts of Gabon, the Congo, and Cameroon.

If it's like most campaign debates, it will all have been so carefully choreographed ahead of time by the professional handlers on both sides that you will barely be able to slip a sheet of paper between whatever advantage either speaker comes away with, although...

Those who like Biden will of course hear what they want to hear and think he won...and those who like Palin will of course hear what they want to hear and think he won.

That's how the partisan mind works. It filters reality through a telescope that only works according to its own script and is blind to all else.

But, you never know...something unexpected may still happen. Someone may screw up royally when Biden and Palin meet. That's what both sides always pray for, isn't it? And they pray that it will favor them when it happens. ;-)

Why, oh why, for instance could McCain not have gone into a foaming frenzy, beat his fists insanely on the podium, and then had a stroke right there on the stage? And why could Obama not have stumbled in confusion, lost the thread of his arguent entirely, and then burst into tears and rushed off the stage?

(sigh) Two more sets of eager partisan hopes were dashed on Friday.

I predict, for instance, that DougR will think Palin did a wonderful job, and Katlaughing will think Biden did a wonderful job.

If I could predict the weather as easily as this, I'd really have something. ;-)

No LH, it may be a Freudian slip, but I think you got it right FIRST time.

HE's a scary lady! A Yeehaww Redneck with a gun in each hand, talking about being a "PRO LIFE" Vice President. Christ help America if an "ANTI LIFE" one ever gets elected. The place will be empty.

And I note also that there has been a significant postgraduate training regime, apparently devoted to enabling the putative VP for the GOP to talk just like Bush, and say just as little.

No disrespect, but, ARE there ANY republican politicians in the United States who left school AFTER the age of eight??

Enquiring minds would like to know.

"Christ help America" is merely a cultural expression, Rig. It's an error on your part to take it literally as referring to Jesus, just as it would be an error on your part to think that every time someone utters the word "God" during sexual intercourse that they are in fact referring consciously to Jehovah or some such heavenly ruler... ;-)

For you to continually object to the use of such words in common speech is silly. You are engaging in a form of knee-jerk political correctness which is unnecessary, pointless, and which serves only to draw attention to your own unresolved emotional issues...namely your obession with religion.

LH - While I agree that it's an unresolved issue, I don't see it as emotional. It's just very simply this: People would be better equipted to solve pressing problems, if they could deal with the problem using a clear head, without any preconceived conditions.
