I have a free aol e-mail account, and they recently made some significant changes to the myaol home page (sign in). When I go on line on my Mac or PC Desktop at home now, the address bar starts running through aol addresses and ("error" appears in all of them), and eventually I get a message that the site is having problems or is temporarily unavailable and to try again. This is not happening from work or when I use my laptop at home. The Mac is plugged directly into the DSL but the PC is wireless. I thought it was something weird with my DSL service when I saw it was happening on both the Desktops, but the laptop should have had the same problem if that were the case. I tried simply typing in www.aol.com, and the same thing happens. To get to my e-mail, I have to google aol and click on a link for aol webmail, which will then let me sign in to my e-mail account. Any clues will be most welcome. Janie |

I deleted the URL for my home page. Closed Safari, reopened it and reentered the url. If I weren't so 'puter phobic I would of tried that 2 days ago. |
