Mudcatters at WOMEX?

I was just wondering whether any other Mudcatters will be going to WOMEX next week and if so, whether we could have a small but select Mudgather. I know about the Welsh delegation ... any others?

Anne, it's always a good idea to provide a link for those of us who are not familiar with the venues.:-)

Here ya go: WOMEX and have fun. It sounds like great fun!!

Point taken, Kat ... but it's not a venue or a festival in the usual way of things, more like Folk Alliance, so if people don't know what WOMEX is they're unlikely to be planning to be there next week!

SS ... if I see anyone hanging around with a white beard and white trimmed red suit I'll buy you a jug of sangria!

We'd already planned to be in Seville that week, and then later foud that Womex was happening. No wonder we had trouble finding a hotel room! Might have a stroll along to the Teatro Lope de Vega, see if we can get tickets for any of the showcase gigs. Anyone know of anything informal happening in any bars or anywhere?

Not at the moment, and I suspect I won't get to hear much until I'm there. But if you get a chance to visit the main exhibit area, come and say hi at the Welsh stands which is where I'll be basing myself!
