Today, I was doing some Christmas shopping in the toy section of a store. When I saw that they're still making Lincoln Logs, I smiled. That brought back good memories of lying on the rug (before they invented carpet) building the same old log cabin, over and over again. For some odd reason, I never got tired of it. When I looked more closely at the Lincoln Log set, I did a double take. They're designed to build two condos. That little old log condo down the lane? Sheesh! Jerry |

They don't even smell like they used to. They used to have a strong coniferous wood aroma, but whatever wood they're using today has no smell. The only odor comes from the set's plastic components. |

He could pack 'em in with the Lincoln Logs when he puts them away, and next time he takes them out to build a condo or two, they'll smell right. |
