Probably went the way of the whooping crane, due to everyone thinking that Christianity was somehow obsolete, and they were above that. What they don't grock, is that there are some prophesies, still unfulfilled, that deal with a one world order, so they, in error, think that we aren't still living in 'Biblical' times. It sure beats Ludo. In fact, if there is no infanticide on the go, I now find that the evenings can seem awfully long. Give it a try." And the alternative?, we asked. Start with Meercat Manor. Great fun, high drama, totally enthralling and entertaining. "House" can be interesting but also incredibly annoying. I am a great fan of Ghost Hunters but it is not everyone's cup of tea. The cooking contests/shows are usually less than violent for all but the ingredient of choice. That is more than ten hours per week of TV - enough! Now go for a walk. SINS |

From: Georgiansilver In the UK we used to have a watershed time of 9 oclock... before which, nothing more than heterosexual kissing was allowed. Most kids now tend to watch the soaps and sad to say they see a lot of adults and young people jumping into bed with each other as soon as they meet.. as well as many other unsavoury things which would not have been acceptable when the watershed was set..... On the one hand I agree with the sentiment expressed, and I find Family Guy stupifyingly unfunny, so I guess I fit into the uncool mob of puritans, luddites and romantics who would like to see a little less tit in every damn thing I look at, a little more humour that didn't involve sodomy, and a little more implied violence, which, when done well, is far more effective than bits of flesh sliding down a wall. |
