Poor John was calling him up on stage and had to be told he was a no-show. Maybe he and Palin were off checking out the Oval Office ala Clinton and "that woman". Hey if you can start a rumor so can I. |

First, it would punish him for not towing the mark, and it would ensure that the democrats win and inherit an impossible mess that they could never clean up in only 4 years. Then at the end of 4 years they could come riding in on their whitewashed charger and vow to clean up the mess Obama made. |

From: quokka I think it was an Australian joke, Bobert...there is a satire called 'The Chaser' which is doing a daily rundown on the US election and they were speculating that McCain would dump Sarah for Joe...at least I THINK it's a joke...maybe I'm wrong...weirder things have happened. Let's face it, they must be desperate....LOL |

31 Oct 08 - 01:56 PM (#2481004) Subject: RE: BS: Palin Out, Joe In... From: Bee-dubya-ell If Joe can take over a small business and have it generate $250,000 in pre-tax net profits within the first year, he may be just who we need for VP! On the other hand, if Joe doesn't understand the difference between $250,000 in gross sales (a reasonably attainable figure for a small plumbing outfit) and $250,000 in net profits (a figure only achieved by a realtive handful of plumbing companies), he's just another financially ignorant loud-mouthed bozo. In that case, the GOP might as well stick with Palin, the loud-mouthed bozo they already have. |
