Shanty Session @The Press Room (NH) From: curmudgeon Since there is just too much going on on the third Saturday, we discussed, at the last session, moving this month's date, Charley Noble asked about the second Sat., but Bruce, Dave and I have a gig that weekend which leaves the fourth as the only possibility. I'll still have to make sure that nothing else is happening there on that date, but for the nonce, the monthly shanty/forebitter/ballad session will take place on 22 November. We had hoped to be able to move it to the fourth Saturday, but there is an 80th birthday party planned for one of the jazz players and the two styles of music just will not blend well. However, the December Shanty/Forebitter/Seasonal Song and Ballad Session will take place on 20 December from 3:30 to 7:30 PM. Meanwhile,to the tune of Frere Jacques, This Thanksgiving, this Thanksgiving, Don't eat bread, don't eat bread, Shove it up the turkey, shove it up the turkey, Eat the bird, eat the bird.
