All the members of the unit were killed. He has heard there is a song somewhere, set to the tune "Shenandoah." He needs it in a hurry, as he has been asked to sing at a Veterans' Day observance in Bedford (will that be next Monday?--the traditional day is the 11th, a Tuesday, so I suppose it's more likely Monday than Friday, the 7th. Do any of you know the song or know of someone who might know it? Charles |

Guest #2 --Thanks for all the information. I forwarded it to my friend, and tried the links myself and a Google search on the song and Allan (or Alan) Barber, with no success in finding the lyrics. I'm continuing my search. Charles |
