Sadly Brian passed away at Prince Charles Hospital, Merthyr on November 6th.

Brian will be remembered as a resident at the Fighting Cocks Folk Club in Kingston many years ago, and later became a member of the Berkshire Bedlams.
He was a resident of Aberdare.

He will be much missed by friends and family.

Sad news. Another good man gone!

Brian and I didn't cross paths often in recent times, but when we did meet, it was great to exchange news and catch up on old times.

Thanks for passing this on Splotty.

Brian deputised as Leader of the Llantrisant Mari Lwyd, on her Nos Galan tours up the Cynon Valley and back. The Falcon, that haven of real ale, always made Brian and Sheila (his wife) on the Mari's final call before the start of the New Year.

I think a certain Dame Patti and I were responsible for Brian moving to South Wales, when a Berkshire Bedlam danced with a Cardiff Lady at Sidmouth Festival - as so began a lifetime's friendship!

Bryan lived in Gwawr Street, Aberaman. When is the funeral taking place?

Erratum - I should have said: "...always made Brian and Sheila (his wife) welcome on the Mari's final call..."

Just heard the sad news He will be missed by so many We were unlucky to have missed his 70th birthday in August at Letchlade as the van broke down on the way, but I know he had a great time and that Sheila will have wonderful memories of their time together.
Our thoughts are with Sheila and the family,We are so sorry that we can't be there on Friday as Dave has a broken his foot but we will be thinking of you.

Brian & Sheila have been regular team members at Festival At The Edge in recent years. Their long experience and steadfastness a major asset to any festival. From their caravan we watched the coming great storm of 2007 and (almost literally) stuck together through the weekend to make the best of it. I will miss the friendship and support, and hope that Sheila will continue to be part of our broad "family".
