Music: Christmas Party - N Herefordshire

Singaround/session Christmas Party
Anyone interested in coming to a party before or maybe after Christmas at The Mortimers Cross pub in North Herefordshire?

this is the place
It's a hotel and they are willing to have guests for a night or two. We could party all weekend. They also have a very big carpark for camper vans. Think about it and let me know. I've not got a date yet, it's up to your suggestions.

ASAP PLEASE Cos I need numbers to make it happen.

Sal

This has got to happen, and happen fast.

Yeah me again... DON'T CONTACT THE PUB THROUGH THE LINK that information is out of date. It's been taken over by new management.

Sal - It looks excellent , but at £75 a room is a bit ( a BIT??) outside my price range ! Not too bad for a couple , but NO mention of single rooms !

None of the figures on the link are correct. The place is in different hands now. That's an old web site, they don't have a new one. All the Boudoir chairs have gone now too. I didn't realise all the links were on that page. All the info is out of date. It's just the picture of the pub I wanted to show you.

I'm interested if I can bring my small (12ft long) caravan. I'll also have to confirm with my social secretary who is away at the moment.

What's the beer like?

That's a shame Sal, if it goes ahead I'm still interested. Perhaps a bit of publicity at Bedworth Festival Mudgather? I'm going.

Thanks for trying to put something together.

I am putting it on,16th January. (subject to confirmation with the pub)

i was just fed up with the usual apathy! Seemed to me that what ever date i say it is, the 'we can't come' messages came thick and fast! Now however, on my myspace and face book sites people are very interested.

Right, I've ok'd it with the Land Lord of The Mortimers Cross Inn. He's keen for an swarm of singers, and a multitude of musicians so what are we waiting for? The 16th of January it is.

My next problem is I definitely need to know how many are coming so that he can order some decent ale. Last thing I want for him is loads barrels and no people to drink it.

Please, please can you RSVP ASAP

We won't know until much nearer the date as much depends on when Steve has his days off that week ... and the rota isn't done that far ahead.

So the Mortimers Cross Inn has changed hands over night! We have a land lady now. She's also keen to have a musical wkend. I've told her we're all civilised so I hope you all can be...lol!

She's going to have rooms available, and she's very happy for the car park to be turned into a caravan and camper site.

All she has to do now is check out the music licence and we're in business.
