Subject: Bob Kenwood, Goodv Intent (UK) 9th Dec
From: growler

We are hoping to start concert nights at the 'Good Intent; Rochester, on the second Tuesday of the Month. The first effort will beon the 9th December, with Bob Kenwood, supported by ' Ruff and Reddy '.
There will be some grub, mid evening and a hat passed round. Hopefully we can make this a regular event, giving the chance for those who support us regularly, to show their talents, supporting local names

I am a local name, and much in need of support.
Just send money.

That's going in my diary. I'll have just come back from Gran Canaria too so the holiday goes on a couple of days more. Bob is not to be missed.

By the way Simon - its Bob Kenward, but I won't be pedantic :-)

Sorry George - I'm getting forgetful in my dotage. If I'd remembered I would certainly have been there, but I didn't put anything in my diary as a reminder. Bloody stupid of me, so when's the next one so I can give myself a reminder?

Pedantic.
Is that a person what looks after ya feet, or is it some kind of preevert like Gary Glitter n Melodeon Boy ?

Naah, Dead Horse! Gary Glitter is either a PDF File or cockney rhymin' slang for your a*se.

Pedantics is the tricks what your domestic cats and dogs get up te - like gettin' their heids stuck in cat-food tins and runnin' into waalls!

Barden, Me darlin'! Aah nivvor telt neebody aboot me birthday as aah wez havin' a quiet one this year (just 3 or 4 hundred party-ganners this time)

If aah'd wanted a fuss mekkin' aah'd've put it on Mudcat for maximum sympathy!!

Love to you and Jan

Even heckling would have proved a bit much :-)
Hope it all went well. (But not too well so I get jealous)

Anyway, it was a cracking evening. Bob and Steve (his fiddle player) were in top form. Thanks to all who came.

Thanks Bob and Steve for a bloody good night. The next concert night at the GI, will be the second Tuesday in February. We have a main act lined up, but we havn't asked them yet. However, the support act will be Steve May, one of the best guitarists at the club. Bob will be back later on in 2009
