Hi Barry!

All the best,

Wait a minute, Allison! Isn't the next weekend the Old Songs Festival? You're supposed to be there. I've been looking forward to seeing you.

Oops. Barry's session is on Monday night. Guess you can make Old Songs and Paddy Burke's both. School must be out for the summer. Enjoy your freedom!

Hi Animaterra, this Monday is an unusual treat & doesn't happen often, next week & the weeks after will again be on Wednesday. I did get your message, thanks, still don't know yet though.

Hi Dan it'd be great, as always, to see & hear you. Hope you can make it.

George, I'll pass your greetings on to Frank.

Barry

Hi Geoge, Frank sends greetings back to you & asked how I knew you, when I told him through the internet he knew right off it was "that Mudcat thing". Liam's bro made it by to add to the number of great songs & singers & it was more far than a special treat. Frank's a real one of a kind beauty. Wish you all could've been there. Barry

Hmmmmmm, Wednesday nights? Yes, Sandy, vacation starts after this week and I'll be freeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- and I'll also be at Old Songs. I'm not so sure about Wednesday in Boston, but is there anything on Tuesday?

I had a great time there last Monday. Frank Harte was as ebullient as ever. It reminded me of when we first met 20 years ago in Mick Moloney's back yard. The 3 of us sat around in the dark swating mosquitos and singing until well into the morning. The Singers' Circle in Boston is similar except there is a bar with 7 or 8 different draught beers and there are no bugs.

Barry is singing very powerfully and it was great to see my old friend, Shay Walker, originally from Dublin and a Boston standout for many years.

Barry, does the Singers' Circle in Boston meet every week? When and where?

All the best,
Dan

Hi Dan it was great to finally hear & see Frank, what a treat & he brings great singers out of the woodwork & you were well fit for the spot beside him you were in great form yourself, thanks for the songs & for singing. The session goes on about 9:00 every Wednesday eve. at Paddy Burkes on Portland St. but if anyone wants any info they can post me & I'd be happy to get out any details. I'm still working my way down your way. Barry
