His name was Wounded John Scott Cree, and we used to jam together occasionally. John was (and is still) a superb entertainer and, in 1977, persuaded Pye Records to cut his blues version of "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer". I'm glad to say that John has been able to put this up on YouTube, together with some ancient footage of him being silly, and you can catch it at: Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer.
