13 Dec 08 - 01:47 PM (#2514404) Subject: RE: Askew Sisters in Southport From: GUEST,Tunesmith For its size, Southport does very well for bookshops with three antiquarian shops in the town centre - and a Waterstones, W.H.Smith,three remainder(discount)book shops and one charity shop devoted entirely to books(and cds/records). |

13 Dec 08 - 02:42 PM (#2514445) Subject: RE: Askew Sisters in Southport From: MartinRyan Little egrets pale into insignificance (sorry!) compared to the Little Blue Heron we had at Letterfrack, about an hour's drive from me, some weeks back! I had great fun explaining to people that it wasn't really "Little", definitely wasn't "blue" and you could argue the toss for claiming it wasn't really a heron but an egret! Regards |
