14 Dec 08 - 07:16 PM (#2515339) Subject: Lyr Add: 12 Days of Christmas - Feline version From: Genie OK, this started out as a photo caption thread Kitty gave to me ... caption but it's evolved/evolving* into a pretty good 12 Days Of Christmas parody, so I thought we should bring our .. um .. creation up here above the line. Here's what I've done by way of tweaking our joint-effort lyrics. ^^ The 12 Days Of Cat-Mas On the first day of Cat-Mas, my kitty gave to me Some partridge feathers from the pear tree. On the second day of Cat-Mas, my kitty gave to me Two hairballs And some partridge feathers from the pear tree. On the third day of Cat-Mas, my kitty gave to me Three gift mice, two hairballs and some partridge feathers from the pear tree. On the fourth day of Cat-Mas, my kitty gave to me Four shredded drapes, Three gift mice, two hairballs And some partridge feathers from the pear tree. On the fifth day of Cat-Mas, my kitten gave to me FIVE SHARPENED CLAWS, four shredded drapes, three gift mice, two hairballs, and some partridge feathers from the pear tree. ... On the twelfth day of Cat-Mas, my kitty gave to me Twelve tangled tinsels, Eleven catnip binges, Ten scratched-up doggies, Nine fleas a-jumping, Eight lives remaining, Seven lumps of cat poo, Six broken ornaments FIVE SHARPENED CLAWS, Four shredded drapes, Three gift mice, Two hairballs, and some partridge feathers from the pear tree. (Maybe Joe will see fit to reclaim the "caption" thread by merging it with this one, up here in the music section. Genie Oh, and, of course, everyone's invited to offer their own versions of this list. : D |
