The Borderline Folk Music Club of Rockland County, NY will present Mike Agranoff in concert on Sunday, January 18th at 2 PM. Mike is a veteran folksinger who has seen it all and done it all. He writes some of the funniest parodies in the business. You are all guaranteed to have a thoroughly entertaining afternoon.

Please note that for the winter months our venue will be moved from the Shapiro Residence to the New City Volunteer Ambulance Corps. building located at 200 - Congers Road (across from Clarkstown North High School), New City, NY 10956.

However, although we are now at a public venue, we will still retain the house concert format and protocol. That means that advance reservations are required. The suggested donation is $20 per person and we ask all attendees to bring a cold pot luck dessert to share with 4 people.

For reservations and additional information you can e-mail to solz@optonline.net or call me at (845) 354-4586.

Mike is not to be missed. Good tunes. Great guitar work. Maybe he'll do the "Would You Like to Play the Guitar?" paroldy of "Swing on a Star".

I have it on good authority that he will be performing that song, Roger.

Mike performed a fantastic concert. He mesmerized the audience with his songs, stories, and his humor. We had a jam session after the concert. Whereas most performers are ready to pack up and head out the door once they are finished playing, not so Mike. He joined right in with the jam session and stayed an extra 2 hours until it was concluded. The snowy weather cut down on our attendance but we still had a respectable crowd.

Next up at The Borderline is Pat Wictor on Sunday, February 15th.
