Perhaps most visibly known from his appearance with Joe Brown on the Concert For George a few years back. Seems to be one of those guys who got around, playing with lots of different sorts of people. I was only telling some friends the other day about a chap I knew played 'Here Comes the Sun' with Joe Brown, at the George Harrison RAH tribute. Neil was a true Gent and very modest about his superb musical skills. I managed to play with him once, a few years ago, when he was supporting an event run in a local pub. He complimented me on my meagre skills and played down his own prowess. Another good one gone |
