UK - Morris books free to good home

Just received from Tony Forster, Boss of Pig Dyke Molly:

Have just started clearing our loft....

Do you think anyone would be interested in a box of assorted Morris stuff - Black Book, Sharp's books, Tony Barrand book, acres of Roy Dommett notation from workshops, lots of notes from Sidmouth workshops in 80s and 90s. If anyone would be they are very welcome to it...otherwise recycling bank looms...

Also 14 assorted Folk Music Journals dating between 1966 and 1992.

Email jantony@waitrose.com - don't contact me.

Peterborough area. I should think you'll have to collect it!

Does that mean you're coming to Whittlesea Straw Bear? (would be suitable opportunity to collect, I'm sure)

Sadly can't get to it - tight on dosh at the mo. I can pop down to Peterborough though. Used to live near there and it would be good to have a poke around my old haunts and see what crimes have been committed to 'my' lovely cottage! lol

Refreshing this thread.

These books aren't what I was expecting so they are up for grabs again.

I put in a request. If they can ship to the US - GREAT. If not, I will see if I can get a local to pick it up for me and ship.

Rhiannon: for the benefit of others who might want to take up the offer, in what way were they not what you were expecting? On the face of it the descriptions seem pretty clear.

Malcolm: Just my misunderstanding and ignorance. I thought they were just music notation but most of it is dance notation (which I didn't know existed).

Tony says he's swamped with requests. I think Colin Cater might get some or all of them (unless anyone here knows better) and both Tony and Colin will be at Whittlesea Straw Bear this weekend so I guess it'll be settled by then.
