It's a lovely looking instrument, not particularly fancy but well made and in excellent condition. I learned a couple of Russian tunes on it but my Balkin musical career was aborted in favor of old-time banjo. I purchased it at the time in Ann Arbor for about $350 from Dave's Music Store and would be willing to sell it for that amount, with an appropriate donation to Mudcat. If there is any interest here, I'd be happy to provide a link with digital images of the instrument. Cheerily, Charley Noble |

I have her e-mail if you want PM or e-mail me, or bring it next time if you're not in any hurry. Barry |

Are you sure you don't want to learn to play it yourself? It would make a novel accompaniment for traditional Russian sea shanties. Cheerily, Charley Noble |
