I left it on the piano, and a few days later wondered what was the strange noise coming from the room... peeped in, there was (then 14 year old) Daughter, playing piano and carolling away at all 34 verses of The Bloody Tragedy of Titus Andronicus, complete with all gory details, to the tune of Fortune My Foe. |

It would be interesting to have this book just to check it against, though I think most of what she includes can be found on Mudcat.:-) |

I would be interested to know what its sources were. I am very interested in Stuart period ballads but already have Pepys, Roxburgh, Euing, Bagford, Osterley Park and D'Urfey + what's online so I'd need to know that other sources are being used before buying. |
