Martin, is there a Ran Tan Myspace page in the pipeline? I can't get the audio clips to load on your website...

Thanks little robyn.
Spleen - no plans for a myspace at the mo. I've just had a little delay to load the clips as well. I'll look into it.

Music won't load for me either. I don't know why it's so complicated. Why not just put up linkes to MP3s. I mean, Ran Tan is a great band but I can't see bootleg CDs turning up at car boot sales!

Erm . . . you do realise you have to start the tracks manually?

Errrmm...Steve, since the band are intending to re-issue their 2 previous recordings on CD this year, I think the idea of providing downloadable free mp3's might be a bit self-defeating???

It's working now! Great stuff! I, erm, pressed play... (whistles to himself as he wanders off to sit quietly in the corner)

sorry gang, appreciate all not so clear on the website. looking at other options - all in spare time (none).

to confirm, you do have to select your track and play it. will add that information.

there might be some delays as they are large files and depending on your connection and how many people call the files at any one time . . . and the server, it may take time to load.

any problems, please email the band via the site (i.e. me) so i can sort it. not here cos i only found this discussion by accident!

thanks

Just for information. Fiona Fahlin (was Booth) is Ran Tan's Sax merchant!
Has now become web-meister general for the band. Join the group on facebook and see some grim pictures!

Marin and co: it will be brilliant to see you back in action cheesing away. Great to listen to those clips, excellent version of Staten Island and the hornpipe before can't remember the name.
Takes me back to Lancashire days 20 years ago. Pretty bone idle of you to take a 15 year holiday though...the Boat Band never closed!
