Information on Nan O'Byrne

Does anyone know anything about Nan O'Byrne. She (I think Nan is a woman) wrote "Your Sweet And Shiny Eyes", recorded by Bonnie Raitt and, later, Bob Neuwirth. If you know this song you'll know why I'm fascinated with it - it's short, one verse and a chorus - singable, and unforgetable.

I can find no information on the writer, and I'd like to know if she wrote anything else, or even recorded herself.

Thanks

Norman

A quick Google on "nan o'byrne" song produces a few likely looking results? Have a look.
