This biennial event is being jointly promoted by the Edinburgh and Lothians branch of the TMSA and West Lothian Council, and takes place at the Regal Community Theatre, Bathgate. Full details are currently available on the ELTMSA website events page including downloadable pdf (Print page 2 for application).

In brief, the event starts with a Friday night concert with Ewan Robertson (BBC Radio Scotland Young Trad Musician of the Year 2008) and the Cast (recently featured in the soundtrack of the film of Sex and the City, with their lovely rendition of Auld Lang Syne to the old tune): the evening is rounded off with a singers' session.
Singer in Residence for the event: Mairi Campbell.
Saturday am workshops with Mairi (Sahaja Yoga and the Voice), The Red Yoyo (songs and presentation on the life and times of Matt McGinn), "Doh Ray Me When Ah Wis Wee" with Ewan McVicar, (a workshop mainly for children and families).
Saturday pm workshops: the Muckle Sing for Community Singing Groups (and anyone else interested) with Craig Morgan and Robson, or Wendy Carle Taylor with songs reflecting the Homecoming and beauty of Scotland.
Evening concert with Mairi Campbell, Ailsa Cole and Kirsty Law, and Craig, Morgan and Robson.
Full details of pricing on the brochure, but you can attend the WHOLE thing for a very reasonable £27 full price or £19 concession. Box office now open: 01506 433634.

Just to clarify, you don't HAVE to come to the whole thing! There are separate prices for both evening concerts, and for a day event ticket, "Day" meaning 10.00. - 5.00.pm. Each at £10 or £7 concessions.
