I'm looking for the text of some Irish rebel songs, f.i. on the one road and highland paddy, sung by the Wolf Tones.

Can someone help me out?

Please e-mail me.

Thanks!

Rob.

There's lots of 'em in the Digital Tradition database. Try putting @irish rebel in the search box at the top right of this screen.

Come back if there's not enough there for you!

They're both not in the database yet but have been posted. A Forum search with 'highland paddy' and 'on the one road' entered under 'subject' will help in both cases.

I believe protocol deigns that any song becomes a provo song when any words are substituted for 'F*ck the Queen', and similarly (and ecumenically) a Loyalist song when the same words are substituted for 'F*ck the Pope'. I've often been moved by the sheer vitality of the Irish musical tradition.
