This is for all of Bill's fanatical fans here...and I know there are sooooo many of you...you will enjoy it. He does a nice relaxed interview with Fran Drescher, the NYC arts and media gal, you may recall her amusing cameo in "This is Spinal Tap".

Heh. Looks like if I hadn't posted to this thread, it would have been the long sought after one post thread. Sorry about that.

That's because most people are shy to admit how much they admire William Shatner.

I must admit, in spite of myself, that I enjoyed his collaboration with Joe Jackson on "Hasbeen."

I'm a fan. He's amazing in his role as Denny Crane.

Little Hawk, have you seen the filmed play of Arch Oboler's "Night of the Auk"? Made for TV. I'd have to look it up but it was before the moon landing. 1960-something. Shatner is very good in it. I loved that play. Saw it over and over as a theatre piece in Melbourne. I'd really like to find that play version again but there's not much chance probably.
Cheers, Joy

"Night of the Auk" was made in 1960 so before Star Trek.

CarolC, you thwarted LH's ambition to post the lead thread! These 12min contributions have to stop!

12 minutes, for goodness sake. On a Shatner thread! Better luck next time, LH.

By the by, the Google ad. under my reply box is for William's books, and Tinnitus cures. Can't see the connection, myself.

Oh, it's changed! Now it is 'William Shatner books' and 'Exit Interview Specialist.'
I can see the connection there! Well, I can if it is a job offer for an interviewer for Exit, the euthanasia helpers.

I know. I feel really bad about it, too.

I was not trying to post a thread that would get no responses this time. I have done so occasionally in the past. But not this time.
