Need the words and music to this one.

Hi, Maj - It's often very difficult to find songs if all you know is the title. Many songs are known by many different titles. If you can tell us what you know about the song - where you heard it, phrases from the song, the story behind it - it might be easier for us to help you find it. In addition, you'd be giving something to all of us, and adding to our cooperative effort.

All I know right now is that a friend of mine has heard it and wants to play it on his accordian. I told him I would look.

Seems like I may have heard this on an old Bob Wills recording. I should have it somewhere, but finding it could take a while. Would be worth to hear the song again.

KEEPER OF MY HEART
Jerry Irby, Bob Wills

If again you were just mine,
The sun for me would always shine.
Though fate had ruled that we must part,
You're still the keeper of my heart.

Each night now down upon my knees,
I pray that you remember me.
When we're many miles apart,
You'll be the keeper of my heart.

All alone without your love,
I ask our keeper up above
To guide your footsteps back to me.
Without you, life's no good you see.

The treasured memories that burn
I keep and I will always yearn:
All the love that once was part
Of the keeper of my heart.
