As a string player, I have no idea of the value of this instrument. Could any of you 'Squeezers' out there help me with its origins and value please? |

05 Feb 09 - 06:13 PM (#2558431) Subject: RE: Scandalli Symphony Four From: Peter the Squeezer Sorry about the delay, Johnny. Sounds Instrumental, of Musselburgh, have one priced at £399.00. Scandallis are good quality boxes, but so much depends on the condition. Has it been looked after? Is it in a case? I hope you are going to learn to squeeze a few tunes from it. Don't try to do too much, too quickly. Make sure that when you leave it, you leave it standing with the keyboard at the top - ie buttons at the bottom - that way the valves will hang in a neutral position. There is some good stuff elsewhere on the Cat (something from Foulestroupe about recycled muso's) which I have found very useful. If I could master the blue clicky thingy, I could put a reference in to lead to it. Happy squeezing Peter |
