Scandalli Symphony Four

This accordian has been bequeathed to me, and I have to renew my
instrument insurance. As a string player, I have no idea of the value of this instrument.
Could any of you 'Squeezers' out there help me with its origins and value please?

Sorry about the delay, Johnny.

Sounds Instrumental, of Musselburgh, have one priced at £399.00.

Scandallis are good quality boxes, but so much depends on the condition. Has it been looked after? Is it in a case?

I hope you are going to learn to squeeze a few tunes from it.
Don't try to do too much, too quickly.

Make sure that when you leave it, you leave it standing with the keyboard at the top - ie buttons at the bottom - that way the valves will hang in a neutral position.

There is some good stuff elsewhere on the Cat (something from Foulestroupe about recycled muso's) which I have found very useful. If I could master the blue clicky thingy, I could put a reference in to lead to it.

Happy squeezing

Peter

Peter thank you very much indeed for the information.
I knew the 'Cat would come up trumps.

Best Regards
Johnny
