07 Feb 09 - 09:22 AM (#2559938) Subject: My first Facebook 'Event' From: PoppaGator At the behest of my two comedian sons*, I recently signed on with Facebook, mainly to keep track of their activities, see photos and videos, etc. I just posted a notice of my little once-a-month coffeehouse performance. It'll be interesting to see if this "official" announcement results in any more people showing up: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#/event.php?eid=51016918127&ref=mf Someday, sooner or later, I suppose I'll get around to recording myself on audio and/or video, and then I'll be able to publish the result on Facebook and elsewhere. If it ever happens, you Mudcatters will be among the first to know. *If you are inclined to look up the boys, you can search Facebook (or search the web) for Cassidy Henehan and Mike Henehan. They each participate in several such "events" each week, in New York and New Orleans respectively. |

My buddy Jeff Pickens has posted a copy of my notice on his very-ironically-named World's Greatest Website: http://www.jeffpickens.com/ |
