We saw her a few weeks ago when her brother, Archie, was the guest at the Davy Lamp, in Washington, and she sang one song as a floorspot. Lively and warm as ever - if a little indistinct, through having just lost a couple of teeth! I'll look out for a full-blown gig. |

Apart from it being so wonderful to see her again in such fine form. what was noticeable wa the amazing turnout of other musicians (Moira and Malc in the forefront!) showing just how much Ray is loved and has been missed. I must add a special mention for Di Henderson who travelled down from Tyneside with her and shared the gig. She was new to me, but what a pairing. Do look out for either or both. |
