25 Feb 09 - 05:29 PM (#2575901) Subject: BS: Bobert Pulls Dead Keyboard From Auction From: Bobert Hurrrummmpppfffttt!!! That's it... It bad enough to be a dead and worn out keyborad but now in the other thread my dead keyboard (sniff...) is being used as a vehicle around which folks are circling to beef about copy-cat threads... Hey, why not have just started a thread on copy-cats??? I meam, have ya'll have any respect for the dead, 'er what... Don't naswer that 'casue I'm about to tell ya'... Nope, not an ounce of respect and that concerns me that whoever would by my dead keyboard would show it no more respect once they have it than they are showing now... So, I've decided that a proper burial is in order... Ya'll can bit and send yer money to Max, or whoever, but the keyboard ain't leavin' this farm... Period... Bobert and his dead keyboard |

25 Feb 09 - 07:54 PM (#2576031) Subject: RE: BS: Bobert Pulls Dead Keyboard From Auction From: GUEST,Sorcha Sorry, but it's just MORE silly stupid stuff, IMO. And IMO, the Cat is NOT what it 'used to be'. It used to be a GREAT place to make friends, now, don't try that. You'll just get shot down. Just copy cat stuff, flames and trolls even in the Music section and stupid stuff from fake Guests like the above. I'm sorry, but it's really, truly gone all clannish, and NO amounts of reading, searching, etc, is ever going to fix that. If you aren't an In Member, you get flamed. I've seen it too many times. Another thing is that 'crap' singers are TERRIBLY over appreciated, while 'just instrumentalsists' are treated as garbage no matter HOW GOOD they are. You better SING or you are NOTHING here. I've SEEN and experienced this and at least one VERY good picker has pretty much left because of it. Stuff can also get REAL personal too....and some people can truly get away with ANYTHING, even personal attacks while others can't even use a consistent 'guest' name without it being stolen. I will continue to post once in a while, but as a Guest. I will log in once in a while to collect PM stuff. It's not really the Mudcat, it's just SOME MudCATTERS and SOME admin people. The DT continues to be invaluable even for non singers like me. |

Okay, it may be stupid sometimes but it ain't copied... It's the real Bobert deal... That's my story an'... (Well, Boberdz, that is copyin'...) Okay, forget it... It ain't my story but I'm stickin' to my "I don't copy" until someone comes up with pictorial evidence to the contrary... I don't copy!!! B~ |

25 Feb 09 - 08:17 PM (#2576041) Subject: RE: BS: Bobert Pulls Dead Keyboard From Auction From: SINSULL Bobert and Mr. Keyboard, Please put this all in perspective. Poor Joe was looking at the auction and saw that there was a real possibility that the keyboard would bring in more cash than his sorry, bony butt. He ranted a bit. It's over and now we are all back to playing nice. Given that the keyboard has seemingly recovered, isn't it a bit harsh to expose him on a mountain without even the company of a dead mouse? By the way, you owe several of us BIG TIME. We put in bids on Bro'Joe just to assuage his wounded ego. What do I do with him if I win. I have more uses for a dead keyboard! SINS |

25 Feb 09 - 08:42 PM (#2576057) Subject: RE: BS: Bobert Pulls Dead Keyboard From Auction From: Bobert Sins, I don't have a clue where the auction is even held??? I don't know if my every deceased keyboeard brought 50 cents or two bucks... I do know that it was slimey to create a thread about it being auctioned off as a way to rant about copy-cat threads... I mean, gosh... If it were anyone's family member that was dead would folks be usin' the corpse to rant about petty peeves.. I am thoroughly disgusted... BTW, how much did the dead keyboard bless its heart, bring??? And belive me, it is dead... This ain't no joke... It's dead... (Well, BOberdz, it could be fixed, couldn't it...) Forget it, fir $15 verses spending a couple thousand to rebuild it, I'll take the 15 bucks... B~ |

25 Feb 09 - 08:47 PM (#2576068) Subject: RE: BS: Bobert Pulls Dead Keyboard From Auction From: jacqui.c I will be very disappointed if you pull the poor keyboard from the auction sir. I was going to do the Ebay thing and go in last minute with the winning bid. you know that I would be the perfect custodian for this wonderful relic. This is an article to treasure. This little keyboard has been honoured with the touch of your finger over so many years that it is now steeped in Bobertness and needs to be placed in its own little shrine and revered. Most of the time, anyway. It can go down to the cellar whenever you upset the Mudcat Womenz again. |
