Friday 6th                                                                              

9pm Tomás Ó Canainn "Don't tell them what to sing; let them at it!" - a lecture on Cork songs. A song                           session presented by Cliff Wedgbury, featuring visiting singers and members of the Cork Singers' Club will                            follow. Adm. €10



Saturday 7th

11am "Learn a Song" - an opportunity to learn an Irish or English song with Dannie Maidhcí Ó Súilleabháin.                           Fee €8/€5



                   2pm "A Walking Tour of Cork Songs" led by William Hammond.

                   Meet at Mok's Bar, Bandon Road.



9pm Cork Singers' Club Annual Song Concert presented by Sinéad Caher featuring Tom Crean, Patricia Flynn, Fiona Kelleher, Dick Miles, Mick Quinn, Rosie Stewart and more. Adm. €10



Sunday 8th

12.30pm "The Miller's Tale and Other Mysteries" - comic songs and stories with Gerry Miller and Con Fada Ó Drisceoil. Adm. €7                                                                                                            



4pm "Celebrating Mick Quinn the South Armagh storyteller and singer". Presented by Patricia Flynn and featuring Diarmuid Cronin, Mícheál Quinn, Dannie Maidhcí Ó Súilleabháin, Rosie Stewart and more. Adm. €7



8.00pm "Working Together" with Ricky and Reuben Lynch. Adm. €10                                                                                       

9.30pm Cork Singers' Club usual session with special guest Hank Wedel and Bean a' Tí Elaine Flannery.                        



Weekend Ticket available - €25 covers all events.

Does this mean you'll be performing without your trusty Concertina then?

If so, will you not feel a little naked without it to hide behind? ;-)

yes, no concertina apart from taking a note,it is an intersting challenge ,because I sing quite differently ,without an instrument,more ornamentation,because there are no chords

last nights concert was great,good spots from Fiona Kelleher,Tom Crean,Patricia Flynn and Mick Quinn ,Rosie Stewart was unable to make it .
