This is tempting, but I have the 8-volume Greig-Duncan collection and I suppose I don't really need the condensed version. Still, it sounds wonderful. Sadly, despite living in Edinburgh, I've found it impossible to get my sticky mitts on a complete 8-volume set. I believe several volumes are now out of print, and the publishers told me last year that they have no plans to reprint, which is a shame. Maybe this new book will stimulate interest and change that.
