Grimsby lives in the shadow of Hull, a bit like everywhere else really. The denizens (known colloquially as 'codheads') will tell you that its proper name is Great Grimsby, but that still doesn't measure up to Kingston upon Hull.

As you may surmise, there has been a certain amount of rivalry between these two places on either side of the Humber. One is a town, the other is a City - need I tell you which is which. There used to be a soccer rivalry between the two places, but now they aren't in the same league since Hull City's promotion to the highest league.

Any road up, enough Grimsby baiting. Hope you all have a great time!

My other half Sophie will also be there with an array of authentic renaissance instruments (crumhorn, bagpipes, shawm, and the dreaded rauschpfeife!) Can't remember the precise name of the venue but it's St something's Church. Drop in and see her if get a chance.

Chris
