Peggi Lou Hemrick Date: May 1st, 1936 - March 5th, 2009 Obituary: HEMRICK Germanton – Mrs. Peggi Lou Hemrick, 72, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born May 1, 1936 in Ray County, MO. She was the Matriarch of The Hemrick Family Singers and will be truly missed. Mrs.Hemrick was of the Baptist faith and she enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing and reading classic westerns. She also collected humming birds and angels. Mrs. Hemrick was a loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Olen Holder of Richmond, MO. Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Charles "Chuck" Hemrick; her son, Kevin and wife Laura Hemrick of King; her daughter, Karen Hemrick and her friend, Penny Montgomery both of King; one brother, Norman and wife Carol Rash of Warsaw, MO; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Bobbie J. Phillips of Charlotte, NC. At Mrs. Hemrick's request, there will be a private memorial service for the immediate family. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials please be made to The American Red Cross, 690 Coliseum Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27106-5311. |
