A folk gig at a rock festival is feral, a gig in the folk section of a music festival is domesticated - same with a lone venture into art centre / theatre as opposed to a folk night

I just spoke to a busker in Gloucester today. He was singing Peggy Gordon and I struggled to sing along. His delivery was definitely geared to the general public, not traditionalists. But feral it was. |
