02 Apr 09 - 11:06 PM (#2603642) Subject: RE: M'cat Auction: Three Woody Guthrie books From: EBarnacle I have enjoyed Bound for Glory and Woody, Cisco and Me. The Longhi book tells a really good tale about an underreported period in Woody and Cisco's lives. |
03 Apr 09 - 09:03 AM (#2603843) Subject: RE: M'cat Auction: Three Woody Guthrie books From: Uncle Phil I really like the Longhi book, too, which is how I wound up with two copies. If you enjoyed those two you would really like the Klein book in the auction. Another good biography is "This Land Was Made for You and Me" by Elizabeth Partridge. - Phil |
