We wish him a speedy recovery, and hope to see them in the not-too-distant future! If you had bought tickets you may either swap them for an alternative guest night, or have a refund. Lymm Folk Club Residents are offering you a rare opportunity to see us all in concert in place of Isambarde... I suppose that, as I was supposed to have been Isambarde's support, I will get 'top of the bill'...!? |

This has been the first time in about ten years that I've had to cancel a gig through illness. I'm really sorry to have let you down, but I had some sort of viral thing which meant I couldn't stand up without everything spinning (and no - it wasn't that!) I'm glad it turned out to be a virus, because the story sounded a lot more worrying the way we heard it - which was why I kept my opening post somewhat vague! I think Stewart is hoping to reschedule for September when we should have had Flossie, but the date now clashes with her tour as support for Show of Hands! The lass done good! Anyway, we look forward to seeing Isambarde in Lymm as soon as we can arrange it. It would be good to get you three on Sounds of Folk on Oldham Community Radio 99.7fm (also online) some time, too!
