Elbow Jane,a 5 piece acoustic band from Liverpool will be appearing at the Valley Folk Club in Pontardawe ,near Swansea on friday 17th April beginning at 8.30pm.
The venue is the Upstairs room at the Ivy Bush,Brecon Road and a warm welcome is extended to one and all to come along.
Elbow Jane play acoustic guitars,mandolin piano and bazouki and perform a rich variety of self penned and traditional material.

These guys are brilliant! Their live show is fantastic with some amazing harmonys. Definatley not one to miss!!!

Think they are from The Wirral aka "3 Side Island" which is the title of their new CD.

Bought the album "3 side island" at a gig recently and I think its great! Do you have the album yet Capo da Monty? If not I can thoroughly recommend it!

Yep. Saw them at Cramlington FC last month with Mike Silver. Brilliant! Also have the previous CD "England's Stone" which is again highly recommended.
Looking forward to catching up with them at South Lakes Promotion in Ulverston on 1st May

Only joking: Rich Woods wrote the song and it is basically about holding things in your memory (people, events etc.) I believe there is a deeper basis to it i.e. the reason Rich first thought about writing the song but that is personal to Rich.
