The FARM 2009 Gathering will take place October 8 through October 11 at Techny Towers Conference Center (TechnyTowers.org) in Northbrook , Illinois. See the FARM website (www.farmfolk.org) for more information, including: How to submit an idea for a panel or a workshop at the Gathering; The 2009 Nomination Form for the Annual Folk Tradition in the Midwest Lifetime Award; FARM Showcases: This year there will be twelve juried showcases. If you wish to be considered as showcase artist, the submission deadline is May 1, 2009. Please note that if you have showcased at FARM before, you are not eligible to showcase again for three years (e.g. if you showcased in 2006, you are not eligible again until 2009). All details are provided in the 2009 FARM Gathering Showcase Application, which you can download at www.farmfolk.org on the home page.
