Yes its the time of the year for The great GLENFARG FOLK FEAST.
I will be there trying once again to win the World Puff-a-Box Championships and probably failing!!

Yes you guessed it I did not win. I was leading at one point though. I think it would be reasonable to say I finished in the top ten . It was won by Jim Malcolm. who then shared out his prize in the garden while we had a great session in the sun.

Aye, this is a great wee festival. I went down on the Saturday and took in Dave Gibbs songwriting work shop - very informative and entertaining too. After that there was a sing-around with some great performers and the massed harmonies of those present was quite thrilling. The songwriting contest was excellent with some really genuinely funny songs and more serious material from the like of Jim King and Steven Clark. Unfortunately I had a gig that evening in Aberdeen and had to head home after that.
