20 Apr 09 - 06:05 AM (#2614878) Subject: RE: Benji Kirkpatrick Trio on tour this week From: evansakes Not too bad a turnout in the end...fifty odd. A great gig too, comprising mainly songs from the 'Boomerang' album....they're hoping to do another run of dates at some point. Considering Cormac and Sam had only met each other at the first rehearsal last Tuesday the three of them formed a VERY tight rhythmic unit indeed. The encore was that old folk chestnut 'Voodoo Chile' (learnt from the singing of Jimi Hendrix) |
