Quality songs from a quality singer and writer. One of Canada's finest. his covers of Archie Fisher and Stan Rogers are of the highest order. beautiful rich Baritone voice But I think we are already converted here. His CDs make great presents, so get some more. |

19 Apr 09 - 08:32 PM (#2614708) Subject: RE: Dan McKinnon England tour 2009 From: Sandy Mc Lean Well we Canadians think little of driving 800km or more in a day. However, in Britain we are slowed down by people comming at us driving on the wrong side of the road. :-} lol Enjoy Dan! |

20 Apr 09 - 07:47 PM (#2615232) Subject: RE: Dan McKinnon England tour 2009 From: GUEST,Dan in Nova Scotia Hello Folks, Thanks for the kind comments. And Breezy, as far as carbon footprints... I always take the train when on tour in England to help offset things, as much as I can. (Plus I seldom make the trek all the way to Padstow.) I just have to hope that I can catch all my connections. And Kitty, I have heard that Nathan will be at Herga on June 8, the evening before I leave. In fact, I'd love to show up and hear Nathan do some of his own material. We sang together with a few other friends and family at Hugh's Room in Toronto last November in a tribute to his dad. I look forward to meeting up with any and all whilst on my travels, except possibly, for Breezy... ;) Cheers all. See you in a few days. Dan |
