29 Apr 09 - 04:13 AM (#2621020) Subject: Lancashire Earthquake From: Jack Blandiver At some point yesterday morning the world lurched slightly sideways and doors rattled. I took it for a neighbour's door slamming until an email from the brother this morning told me of an earthquake centred on Ulverston with tremors felt throughout The Fylde. This follows on on the MOD admitting the previous day's earthquake was in fact supersonic shockwaves caused by their new fighter out on manoeuvres over the Irish Sea. Did the earth move for you? |

It felt like an invisible someone had pushed against my desk and chair and we all looked at each other in alarm. It was immediately obvious what it was. I didn't hear a noise although this seems to have been a major feature reported further north and east of me. |
